Building a rig.
Most important question atm:
Whats the best follow focus bellow 200$?
For actually building the rig, is Smallrig a good option for parts? What alternatives are there?
I always use lens hoods for shooting still but with ND filter it gets complicated. How to solve this. Matte box? If so, whats a good budget one, altough iI dont want to lok like a tryhard.
Cheap monitor with low latency?
>>3312605seems like you have more fun in the process of getting and trying out new gear than actuall photography... For me this was the reason I barely ever had any max level character in any mmorpg. Always thought other classes looked fun as well and may provide even more fun, leading me to be unsatisfied with my current setup.
>>3312598>>3312507>In short, budget for the lenses you want/need, then buy the best body you can afford with the change. Bodies come and go but you tend to keep good lenses.>D7000As much as I love my D7200 keep in mind you cant really adapt other lenses on Nikon bodies, stripping you of many options and lots of cheap and fun vintage lenses.
M42 lenses eg can only be adapted with a short teleconverter to be able to focus to infinity. I dont know if there are expesinve onces that work properly but the cheap ones are not very good. Blur, flares, ghosting....
