>>4099026>>Okay that’ll be my choice to buy then, any recommendation on what lens to get to start with? I’m looking for one that’ll be simple to use and can get the most bang for my buck in group shots (like me and the bros with one cosplayer/group of cosplayers in one shot) plus solo pics of them posing.I'm not too familiar with Sony (got gifted a Fuji by an old friend and I'm too invested in the system for sentimental reasons to come out) but from what you want to do, you'd probably want a standard zoom like the 24-70 f/2.8. The zoom gives you some extra flexibility with the space constraints which you might not have the luxury of moving around to get a better composition. Can't really say more than that without an idea of how much you want to spend.
>>I’d love to link up sometime there since I’ve never been to one that large (it’s 5x the ones I’ve been to) and don’t know the after convention spots or party rooms.Neither do I sadly, i usually frequent the East Coast cons and AX with Cali friends. This Sakura is the first for me too.
>>I’m okay with some portraits getting done I’ll be cosplaying as Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2, a Ravenclaw student, and Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke.Yeah just look for some skinny asian kid with a white hoodie and an orange backpack. I usually have a (shitty) portable portrait setup in the hotel room I'm in.
