I chose between getting myself an iPad or a camera. I went with camera. Lowkey, I also think it had something to do with how my ex (gf at the time) was okay with her ex bf taking pictures with her and not comfortable being seen with me because of the excuse "He has a nicer camera".
Yeah, it sounds dumb. But I was young and dumb. It wound up helping me cope with the breakup that happened shortly after.

I am currently really enjoying the 70-200mm 2.8 L but my setup also includes

14mm Rokinon

Hobby. But I am not afraid of making business decisions every now and then. I just don't think I am a better choice than actual professional photographers. I just take pics, slap presets and play around a lot to appease my visual aesthetic.
