In other news I am learning and improving my wet plate photography almost everyday. It seems that an entirely new "feel" for lighting and exposure must be understood with this stuff. The tricky part is that the plates are most sensitive to UV light, and have unintuitive responses to most colors. Love learning this kind of stuff, and I can't wait to git gud. So far pouring the colloidion, and seeing the silver dissolve in the fix are the most satisfying parts for me.
Soon I'll be attempting portraits of my friends to see just how difficult that is going to be!
