>>3230486 I used A Dremel to make the hole in the cap and JB Weld epoxy to affix it to the barrel. I added a lens hood using black craft foam, which helps a good bit for glare and contrast. The focal length is really long so I can use a really long lens cap. The craft foam isn't the best, but it is super cheap and I already had it on hand. I used it for pseudo flocking inside the barrel too. Everything freely slides over each other so it can be expended quite a bit and compacted well.
