>>3511967I'm just giving general advice to anons who repeatedly say they can't or won't try street because they worry they'll "annoy" people or get "punched in the face". Over and over in these threads I've seen anons resort to buying gear to solve this issue which is really an issue that is all in their heads. So buying gear fixes nothing. They'll still be awkward in the street no matter what. The only thing that can solve that is experience and building confidence by repeatedly doing something which makes you uncomfortable until it stops bothering you.
I'm not saying tele lenses can't be used for street, gear doesn't really matter in street, what matters is the tenacity of the photographer. Which is exactly why I'm promoting that you focus on getting stronger in your confidence over encouraging unnecessary gear purchases when that money could be used to travel to events or places, much more useful use of the money for exciting photographs.
I'm just trying to encourage anons who enter these threads and their only contribution is "I wish I could do street but [REASON THEY WON'T]"
