Wide angle lenses are a curse and a blessing for me. They offer great opportunities for extreme and interesting views, but also bring a lot of unrest due to the wide perspective: a lot of ambient content likely results in incoherent content due to many pictorial elements. Different exposure components may complicate a good exposure. Plunging lines, little to no possibility of supporting background blur complicate compositions. But if you get a few bits right, the shot is often different from anything people usually notice.
