there are definitely tons of people with lots of money, and people that buy stuff beyond their skill level
makes sense to me, a lot of the people talking up x100v's know what they're doing, and get great results with it
people just see pretty pictures and want the same camera that took them, not understanding that there's more to it than just the camera
the x100v is a great camera for what it is, it just isn't a good fit for most people, even most enthusiasts
i've seen tons of first time camera buyers leap right into d750's, 5d's, a7III's, etc
got to any flickr pool for any great camera and you'll see tons of hot garbage, picrel for d850
