Keep it if it works and you don't need to make HUGE prints (where mpx are important) or better low light performance (my 1st camera was the 60D which is somehow worse than the 1200D but to me the low light performance was still ok with the 17-55 f/2.8 shooting concerts and events during dusk/night).
Invest into better (used) EF(S) lenses if you have money to spare. And get better at editing photos.
