The fireplace is... interesting. I almost see it as normal/everyday because it's in my house. I know it technically breaks the thread's unwritten rule, but just for illustration purposes, pic rel is a digital photo of the fireplace a month ago. The cat in pic rel was really enjoying the warmth.
The C/Y telephoto lenses that were in the "camera cache" were wide angle, standard, portrait telephoto and sports telephoto prime lenses. The wide angle and standard lenses seem ok with focussing. The portrait telephoto, despite being f/2.8 seems to not work perfectly with the microprisms and split image in darker conditions. The f/5.6 sports telephoto seems straight up unusuable with the microprism, as it always shows these black dots, with the split image appearing black. Sometimes feels easier to just focus a rangefinder camera.
