Not only is the lens not nearly sharp in the center until f/2.8-f/4 as I already correctly remembered, it is NEVER sharp in the corner.
And even if you actually could do this problematic to find f/2.8 to f/4 shot in that one specific well-illuminated place during the night with some people that don't move too much, on this Voightlander (actually on most Voightlanders) the very strong vignetting and ensuing sensor noise still destroys the midframe and gives you an extremely noticeable tunnel vision effect. You'd need another 2 stops leeway to mostly get rid of the mid-frame vignetting, but you probably won't get that at night.
Meanwhile Jeremy Perez Cruz' photo is clearly nice right into the corners, no trashy vignetting effects, no unsharp distractions, and this probably at around T/1.8-T/2 or something.
