You can take the viewfinder out and swap it out -- or leave it off for a waist-level finder on the cheap. You can also swap out the focusing screens.
Really all that does is make it easier to break down and clean up.
They're generally tough and reliable - and feel like they're hew from a solid billet of steel. The version you have is a little better than the original - the lightmeter has more range and you've a brighter focusing screen.
Put a battery in it and see if the light meter works - you might need a voltage adapter, you might not. It depends on if someone's stuck a bypass diode into the meter circuit or not.
I use one for Cosplay photography at cons -- it's an old pro's camera and it's nice to make it 'work', and bit like taking an old racecar to the track rather than leaving it parked up.
