>>4118175>>Best entry-level camera and/or film stock for medium/large format?Medium format: Foma 100 (only that and not any others), RPX 100/400. For a camera probably a Bronica but MF has inflated like crazy. Mamiya C might be worth looking into, it's not that expensive, but TLRs are not everyone's thing. View cameras with 6x9 roll film backs are also competitive price-wise but come with all the inconvenience of using a view camera.
Large format: Foma 200. Cheapo ass Wista 45 will get you started.
>>TLR cameras: are they a meme or are the hipsters on to something?Mamiya C33 is the only one I've tried that I actually like. Most are too light, small and fiddly to comfortably use with shovel hands. Couldn't guarantee steady shots on a Rolleicord at 1/60 because of how fiddly the shutter release is and the camera weighs nothing so is very easy to shake. But with how inflated MF SLRs and Texas Leicas have become it may actually be a viable choice to get started.
>>What's the best photo ratio and why? - 4x5, 6x6, 6x7, 8x10, other?As a landscape fag 6x9.
>>You DO home dev your medium/large format photos, right anon...?B&W at home, color goes to the lab.
>>Printing - how big is too big?Never really printed, dunno.
