I adapted a Ricoh Rikenon 50mm f/2 P to my Canon 1D Mark II.
I had to remove a small ring on the back of the lens using a phillips head screwdriver, and then used a dremel to remove a part which was sticking out. I believe this part is something to do with on-camera aperture control, and I don't need it with my camera. It is a permanent change to the lens but I am not worried. I also removed an inner ring which has a spring attached to it.
Looking forward to taking it out tomorrow.
It's difficult to get good focus using the optical view finder, but I will manage.
