When I'm doing serious work like a photoshoot, or if I know I'm going to be in very low light, or need to work fast, I'm definitely reaching for the Canon. But when I'm going out and my primary goal is *photography* rather than to get good *pictures*, I almost always grab the Leica. The vast majority of my cameras sit on my shelf most of the time, but the Leica (and the 5D Mark III that I use for serious work) are the two cameras I own that I feel have most justified the prices I paid for them in their own very different ways.
