I think the biggest thing is just getting out and doing it, but I could be wrong.
Since the lighting was changing here's three from the basically 3 different setting combinations I was using (I did kind of experiment, but as soon as I got a workable shutter speed I stuck with that grouping until it got too dark to use). I underexposed almost all of them by about a full stop (not sure why, I was drinking that night, so no telling).
