Furthermore, "slower" is relative, considering that it takes ~f1.4 in Micro 4/3 to = the depth of field and light gathering of an ~f1.8 in APS-C. So to get the same effect one should be comparing f1.4 M4/3 to f1.8 APS-C, and then the APS-C primes tend to be quite a bit smaller.
