>>4151570hmm, looking at the thumbnail, there is some very minor banding on the CMOS that youtube says is typical of canon cameras. still a lot better than i expected based on the YT videos i've watched about noise reduction in astro imaging.
this is the spectral curve of the glass i installed. last camera mod i did was really ghetto, i just cut a microscope slide to cover the CMOS. very pleased with using "real" glass. autofocus still works perfectly, for example.
