Good scope, but the NEQ3 mount seems a bit light. If you have 200$ more to spend, take the NEQ-5 instead.
Basically, check the focal length, aperture, and mount. A reflector with a 700 to 1000mm focal length is fine for a lot of deep sky objects. You want a f/5 or under for deep sky.
