>Do you guys rinse your film before with water? Or just go straight to developer.Always rinse 120/220, especially if it’s expired as the backing paper can do funky things to the emulsion. You can see the water change colour when you pour it out again after leaving the film to soak for a while, usually just keep rinsing it until the water is clear. Pre-rinsing is always done at what we temp I’m gonna dev the film at (20c B&W, 38c C41/E6).
I don’t generally pre-rinse 35mm unless it’s expired. Anything in date won’t turn the water a different colour.
