If it's a retro-looking setup you want, why not try a Zf with an adapted VM50 of your choice? For M glass It's the third somewhat optically compatible mount after of course Leica M and SL, due to its thinner sensor cover glass than other non-Leica options. If you just want a reasonably compact setup, around that budget you can't go wrong with a Z5ii these days.
