RZ67 4 sec and 8 sec shutter times too short or incorrect

I have an RZ67 with the 110mm 2.8 but the 4 second and 8 second shutter speeds are often completely off.

When the shutter dial is set to 4 sec and fred the shutter will open and close correctly, but the amount time that the shutter stays open is wildly erratic, sometimes it stays open for 4 secs as it should or it will stay open for 3, or 2, or 3.5.

The 8 sec exposure is also the same, randomly operating correctly, or only being open for anywhere between 1 to 8 secs.

Also if I use a cable release on the lens, and put the camera into mirror lock up, there is a click in the lens after a second or 2 after the mirror locks up, Ive noticed that this coincides with whether the shutter time will be correct. SO is this a problem with the body or lens ?

I've tried researching shutter speed problems with the RZ but all of them have something to do with the shutter being stuck or the shutter dial not moving.

Please offer some input for me /p/hotographers

Alright /fgt/s, I can buy an entire Mamiya RZ67 set for €950. It includes 2 bodies, Sekor 50mm, 90mm and 250mm, 1 prism viewfinder, 3x top viewfinder, 7 film cassettes and some miscellaneous stuff like a large camera system bag, sun hoods and lens caps.

I was thinking to sell one body with one lens, a top viewfinder and 2 or 3 cassettes, which should catch some 500-600 dollars on eBay. I also have 2 Bronica ETRS bodies with some accessories, so I should be able to sell off one complete Bronica and retain one complete Bronica for myself, hopefully earning another ca 500 dollars, making the entire affair cost neutral.

Do you think this is feasible? Am I making a grave mistake or did I luck out? Hoping for some good advice
