>>4190571>>4190574 basically nailed it. It’s all about tinkering around with the extremes on whites/blacks and highlights/shadows. Not much adjustment to the temp, if any. Definitely play with the curves. I have a custom preset I’d made a while back that I slap on pictures that gives it a kind of hazy look, then just toy with the exposure until it feels like it’s almost gone too far. There’s nothing scientific or well thought out in my process desu. Lightroom has a preset called “matte” that I was originally using back in the day, and I’ve since tweaked that and then just play around until I’m happy with the result. Picrel is more of a darker extreme, but the same approach in my dick around method. I’m just snapshitting for the most part. But I have appreciated all the feedback, normally I’m not receiving so much here.
