So I did some point and shoot shopping as if it was 2006 again and came across the Kodak WPZ2, which I think will fit my needs as a basic point and shoot but being somewhat more durable, as I intend to use this at work and while mountain biking.
Anyone used these or something similar? I don’t think this is going to rival the image quality of my now defunct phone, but from experience using basic pocketable cameras in the mid 2000’s I imagine the overall usability is pretty similar.
