After owning two Canons and then buying a K-50 a few years ago I have to say I'm a loyal Bentax user now. Been in pouring rain, mud, icy freezing temps, and it's never had a hiccup. I love the thing. It's been 5 years and 50k snaps and still works great. When it dies I'm going straight to a K-70 or whatever the current equal model is.
Fun Fax: the guy that runs my local analog camera/film shop saw my K-50 one day and said it was the most underrated camera on the market. He worked for Nikon for 25 years and the day he retired he bought his K-50.
