>>3504746I also own an xt3 and only the kit lens. if you have the money, then why not. But if you're a brokefag like me then I'd say the kit lens at 18mm works fine for wide angles. I think the kit lens is a great all around lens. Next is for you to decide what kind of photos you want to take. For me I want to get the 35mm because in theory, and according to people it takes sharper images than the kit lens. I also like to take photos of people so I need a sub-portrait lens. I like to compose my human with the background rather than just blurring everything but the subject.
