So, I'm pretty new to this all and was primarily trying to capture the moon at first, but the night looked nice so I tried photographing the stars. Read a few articles on the internet but still turned out like this, the sky looks really light, but if I shorten the shutter speed the stars are barely visible. (and yes, power line and roof are visible but it was supposed to be just a test)
Is this just about light pollution or can I change anything else about the settings so that it looks better?
I'm going to a place with supposedly not much light pollution this weekend and maybe try to get something better.
