oh good, a moon thread. maybe one of you anon's can help me. i'm using a nikon D3300 with a T-adapter to shoot through a Celestron Evolution 9.25 inch telescope, and i have it set up similar to this:
https://escdn.nl/images/resized/314414:698:705:contain.jpgI'm having trouble getting tack-sharp focus through the camera. using the eye pieces the scope is very sharp, even with high magnification eye pieces. I live in a rural area with very little light pollution and very good viewing conditions.
I've tried to hold the shutter release down whilst turning the focus knob on the telescope very slowly, but this pic is about as sharp as I can get.
