The reason the programs produce different looking RAW images is that there are different algorithms for interpreting RAW images, as its just a set of data. The darktable/LR algorithm just happens to bring out the worst in the 5D, whereas DPP4 was pretty much made with the 5Dc in mind.
Both these images are SOOC, just dumped into the respective programs and saved, as the software comes out of the box. Keep in mind that DPP4 does have a sharpening setting enabled by default, which you can turn off.
