I have an existing client, and I made two "what you see is what you get" commercials for him. He wants a third commercial for a different business of his. I have a great idea for an actual commercial with actual production value that I plan to pitch to him later today, but I'm still trying to figure out expenses for the commercial.
* How can I protect the idea from being stolen, if he rejects my pitch? What should I charge for the idea itself?

The main issue with this, and the entire pitch really, is trying to convince the client to pay the rates that I'm figuring - the client is a rural boomer who pays his workers $12.00-$15.00 last I checked. How do I justify these rates to the client? This project is looking to be 4x more expensive than the previous commercials I made for him.
