Best full frame mirrorless body + lens ecosystem for travel, portrait, and street photography? Looking for the best balance between compactness, build quality, autofocus, and price. Panasonic and L-Mount in general are out on size and cost alone, bad autofocus too. Canon rf lenses are high quality but larger than Z and E Mount offerings, and their bodies lack IBIS. I worry about their ecosystem going forward as well given their tendency to cripple hammer.
Mainly I’m torn between the Nikon Z7 and the Sony A7R3. The Nikon has better ergonomics and weather sealing which are hugely important to me long term. I also won’t have to worry about the body being outdated in a year the way it is with Sony constantly rolling out new models. The Sony is a little more compact, less expensive due to age and 3rd party lens options, and the best eye AF in the business. Any thoughts?
