a reporter today can bring everywhere he goes a device which can take super wide angle, wide angle and standard angle shots in RAW and edit them and share them immediately on his device. we still can't get really high bitrate video because of storage speed but we'll get there.
having a dedicated device with good ergonomics will still be unbeatable, but stop pretending that today I can't go out with just my smartphone and not take very very good photos that 10 years ago only dedicated cameras could take
