>F1 on aps-c is f1.4 on FF; the difference is that you can actually get decent quality f1.4 lenses at every focal length from 24mm to 85mm cheaply. A half decent F1 or faster crop lens doesn't come in under $1k, rarely has autofocus (despite a razor thin dof), and is usually just some ling ling CCTV lens with a speedbooster element, hence why they look as shit as op's photo.Pic related is some random photo I took from flickr.
