>>4230345I just like the idea of stopping in time a view of somehing cool that's happening in the moment or an interesting and esthetically pleasing view. It could be for the geometry or color or because there's a cool car. It could also be a friend having a laugh or talking to someone else, sometimes people have a lot more beauty in them when they don't expect to be photographed and you get to capture a genuine reaction or expression.
You say you find pics to be pointless, well everything is pointless in the end but there isn't a point to have in the first place. If you like what you're doing just keep doing it don't overhink it.
