>>3912596>Faster film and a camera with manual shutter speed, point and shoots will pretty much always let it dip to 1/15 in the dark getting you blurry pics. Shutter speed should me your focal lenght at minimum, so 50mm lens 1/60 and so on.OK thank you for the input, I think I understand. Here's what I'm working with:
Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD
Focal Length 38 mm - 170 mm
Optical Zoom 4.5 x
Lens Aperture f/4.8-13
Min Focal Length 38 mm
Max Focal Length 170 mm
Min Focus Distance 31.5 in
Focus Adjustment automatic
In the future I'll buy a faster film, right now I'm using Kodak 200 but maybe I'll buy 400 next time. Unfortunately I don't have a manual shutter speed, only zoom adjustment and a viewfinder focus knob which is incredibly tiny and you can't adjust it while looking through the viewfinder.
I guess if I want to keep up with this film photography hobby I should buy a camera with a manual shutter setting. If anyone has any advice for a purchase please let me know. I wouldn't like to spend too much money, maybe $100 would be my limit.
