>>3305493I'll be honest, I bought the Amazon Basics carbon fiber tripod and thought it was great. Really sturdy, no branding on it at all, it has a really nice finish to it as well. Kind of a dark gun metal grey, it looks great in person. It has a notch for hanging a backpack for more stability and easy to set up and collapse.
The only cons I could find was that it's slightly shorter than some other tripods at 52 inches tall but I found that not to be an issue since I mostly use tripods on the streets in quick fashion, set-up, take shots, collapse, go.
I had to return it because I knocked it while I was out and one of the knobs used to tighten the ball head fell off without my realising it so any time I put a camera on the ball head would collapse forward. The Amazon reps were useless and couldn't offer me a replacement or a spare part, they said the best they could do is a full refund. I'll probably buy it again someday or whatever chink shit tripod they've rebranded.
