there's no delay between each camera starting to record since they're all recording and the door is the control
without the door, I have to hit record on each and stop recording on each in quick succession, the technology simply isn't there yet to start recording perfectly at the same time for most cameras
some cameras do have much faster readout, and that's where tech like stacked sensors or global shutters can help
