If I recall there are aftermarket negative holders for the epsons that allow you to adjust the height. I wonder if I can figure out a way to raise the stock holder.
I cant find a torrent of Silverscan, but there are a ton for Vuescan, so that makes it an easy choice. Should probably try to find photoshop too...
Pic related is a MF scan of a photo I took with the old Kodak Vigilant Six-20 that is pictured in my previous post. I had to take the lens apart to fix the shutter and the bellows are full of pin holes. I wrapped the whole camera in a towel to make it light-tight. I was pretty happy with the negatives, considering all that.
