I think it's because the camera's WR, and I do plan on ending up in the rain with it (happened only a couple of weeks after I bought the thing), so if I can get this extra measure of safety, I'm taking it
BUT, I know that even non WR lenses can stand up to rain and stuff, I've used film cameras and old lenses in the snow and light rains, so I'll be the first to admit it doesn't strictly make sense for me to want it only if it's WR
I might just bite the bullet and buy it anyway one of these days
And it's not like the 33 1.4 is leaving me wanting for anything, it's simply the best lens I've ever owned
Just wished it looked like the 35
I can rant about it for a while, but I've got almost no solid arguments
