>better build qualityPersonally I think plastic is not bad per se, since it has its share of good properties. The T60 feels sturdy in the hand, and mine went through a lot, as it was used for 15 years in all situations, but still worked flawlessly (pic related: it seems correctly exposed to me) when I took it out of the drawer after twelve years of inactivity and put in a new battery, so I'd say it doesn't lack in build quality. It all depends on your wants and needs.
