I like using old manual prime lenses, so I have an EF to M4/3 speedbooster that I literally never take of my BMPCC4K. Instead of adapting lenses to M4/3, I just adapt them to EF and put them on the speedbooster. Works perfectly.
I tried this with an M39 mount for the first time (lens was Helios-33) and it didn't work. Everything was heavily blurred expect for a tiny point of focus a few inches in front of the lens that did not move when I pulled focus. I assume this was just a busted lens and not an incompatibility issue? I want to know for sure before I try with another copy.
