IBIS is very useful.
The grips can feel small to begin with, but aren't.
Resist water and bumps, 1m drops admirably.
Menu's are good, controls same. It's a camera, not a computer peripheral.
I don't think I have ever used the inbuilt flash, nor video.
Buying lenses is a matter of research. So that's what determines what you end up with. There's a huge number of current and old lenses available.
I buy older lenses, and get them from Japanese sellers. Most are as good as new.
I've found that pentax and other brands *lens* autofocus is pretty good in some lenses and shithouse in others, so again; research.
