Got a bit of a problem.
I own a SEL24240, and unfortunately under recent inspection I've found that the front facing element has fungus. While this won't affect photo quality, I don't feel comfortable with putting it in with my other lenses. Blame my old mouldy Japanese apartment.
After opening it up and inspecting I've found that the fungus is not on the element, but within it. Which is sealed with glue. Would drowning it in isopropyl alcohol sort this mess out or is this lens fucking done?
