>>3920877when I was younger, I was glued to my camera. So much so, that people that I know from back then are surprised to see me without one these days. For me, it got to the point where my camera felt like an unwelcome guest. I used to think I was preserving memories, but overtime, I started to feels like I was just separating myself from those memories. My camera became a thing I had to step away from the moment to interact with.
Nowadays, I really only bring it out around other people at family gatherings. Other than that, I bring my camera out when I go on walks, or just hanging out at the park. It's become a solo active for me.
