I thought I was the only one to notice this "influencer effect." Every tiktok/ig reels basic bitch and their mom is posting their MJU zoom shots and garnering tens of thousands of likes. Comments sections are flooded with "so pretty, what camera???" Lucky for me I can still pick up MJU II zooms for under $30 all day. MJU I's are a bit trickier, but I can nab 'em for around $60 usually. Fuck the MJU II, those have always been outrageously expensive. Used to sell MJU II zooms a couple years ago for $50 and thought I was hosing people. MJU I's would sit for weeks priced at $80-100 in mint condition. I could barely sell one mint in box for $150 (which, in 2020, I grabbed for $60). Market's fucked but if you know your shit these aren't hard to find (eBay) for 2020 prices or even cheaper, including the MJU II. That's assuming you even want a shit camera like the MJU II zoom. Long-winded post for a meme of a camera but its 4chan so whatever.
