It's been an entirely slow and contemptuous slide downhill ever since from one taxpayer blunder to political tomfoolery every year. It goes so much deeper than the surface level buzzword stuff today, Canada's unmaking had already been decades coming, the Canadian public were too hopeful, naive and much too fiscally irresponsible.
