I call it the teenage angsty snap syndrome. Like the average teenagers taking instagram snapshits, these artists expect viewers to resonate with whatever inspirations they have for their photos. But we can't, because we don't live inside their heads, we don't live/eat/watch/experience the same environments as theirs. So at the end of the day, the only messages we get from theirs is that they brought smokers to the woods and slapped vsco on their photos.
