>>3481120It it's both too late,
1. Fix the dust sealing. Hell, weather seal the thing. It's not like good pictures don't happen in shitty weather.
2. gib flash back pls, vry useful tool. Putting on a real flash makes it not a compact any more. The built-in flash had excellent metering and almost no lag when using it with metering. It's a feature nobody talks about in reviews, but it's still important if you're shooting fleeting moments in the dark.
3. An easier way to toggle between snap focus distances
4. The phase AF worked just fine and snappy on the film GR's. Why have Ricoh reverted to this sluggish on-sensor contrast-detection bullshit? How does one manage to backpedal after 25 years?
5. A bit of a selfish one, I really do prefer an optical finder. They crammed a nice one in the film GR's a quarter century ago, but not now? It provided all relevant information while keeping the framing area clear (no Top Gun HUD option for gearfags and spergs who should just buy an Olympus, very unfortunate).
6. Please don't forget what the point of the GR existing was. We have plenty of general purpose pocket cameras and smartphones. If the GR isn't a GR anymore, who would want one over say, a Sony RX100 or any other Canikony Cyber–Powerpix on the department store display?
