From hundreds of lenses I've used and tested over the past 15 years, I can very confidently say that 55mm f1.8 ZA is one of the sharpest. I don't have any charts to go by but looking at all the images I took over the years, this little dude produces some of the sharpest images, on top of having those amazing, soft tones and the smooth highlight falloffs. Even when looking at this 70% downsized/compressed JPEG, you can see just how sharp this lens is - and that's from a 33MP sensor on the a7IV! Lens performs even better on the a1, a7RIV and a7RV.
