Sonys are better if you care about tech specs, but I don't. I care about feel and certain unquantifiable things about the system; I really like the x-trans sensor, too, for example. The noise is more random than a bayer sensor, the repetition is less obvious, and that makes it somewhat more "film-like"
if I need more resolution, I have a lot more tricks up my sleeve than "buy another camera"- but I've found I rarely need more resolution.
